HISTORY:
Charles-Augustin de Coulomb, born in 1736 and died in 1806.
He was a French physicist and inventor.
Some of his work was focusing on developing Coulomb’s law.
His work:
Definition of the electrostatic force of attraction and repulsion.
One of the important words was friction.
EXPLANATION: Coulomb Law
Definition:Coulomb’s law states that the electrical force between two charged objects is directly proportional to the product of the quantity of the charge on the objects and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between the two objects. |
Example:
Given two point charges Q1 = +3.00 C and Q2 = +4.30 C and d = 2 m
